Er..Lost my glasses.

Cant see the numbers.

Mixing fibreglass resin

Added the microfibres. Had just enough.

I marked a line on the base to show where I needed to resin to.

Too wide to clamp and Im not going to try to find any lengths of timber to support the joint. Im just going to compress it with screws.

Mixing microfibres for the fillet

Found this goes on neater with a syringe.

Er....Just sorting out where I sneezed.

Breakfast time while it cures.

Two hours later... Turned it over and marked out the middle of the panels.

Er....Im wearing a pair of goggles from the emperors new clothes line. Honest.

Cutting these out in one go is easier for me than cutting them and trying to glue them together straight.

I get to look at the middle pieces of the join and to test it for strength. It was too soft to have any.

Planing off the edges

Chamfering off the butt plate ends.

Lining up to start duct taping - carefully as its still only 2 and a half hours since I started fibreglassing the joint.
