Just getting off the last of the tape.
Its still bowed a bit strange.
Setting this adjustable square thing to the angle of the bow.
Ive tipped the bandsaw platform so I can cut wedges out to the angle I need for the bow.
Offering them.
Happy with that.
Gluing them in.
Setting them with screws too.
Chomping off the tops so I can roll the hull.
Chamfering the chine.
The nose is uneven where the tape moved. Im sort of levelling it out a bit.
This is a coarse wood cutting disk.
Im spreading microfibres into the seams and gaps in the chines.
Just torn a hole in the glove. Think I need some marigolds.
Im wetting out the tape onto the hull, on top of the wet microfibres as this will stop the microfibres curing lumpy.
Tape for the other side.
Ive got some more help - this time from my littlest.
Happy with the way the tape pulled round the corner at the bottom of the bow.
Of course...Ive been wearing goggles all the time, not just for this as they have built in magnifiers. Honest.
Almost done.
Start of the return run..
